Today, the second annual CineMarfa Festival kicks off in Marfa, TX, and runs through Sunday, with screenings of several Harmony Korine flicks, the new Werner Herzog documentary Into the Abyss, and a Trinie Dalton-curated selection of short films by Mika Rottenberg, Sue De Beer, My Barbarian, and others.
Then, next Tuesday, May 22, Trinie will be reading at Marfa Book Company at 6pm, which looks to be an awesome awesome store. It’s all going down in Marfa.
